Red a Sign

By Sheila Friedman Rubin

Red the color of life

Red the color of four cups of wine

Red God’s burning bush

Red the blood on the door post, a sign

Red the color of the raging sea

Its parting a sign to let us flee

From slavery God set us free

This story we tell time after time

Red the color of four cups of wine.
