On a new fruit that you have not eaten this year:
Blessed are You, Lord of the Universe, who given us life, preserved us and enabled us to reach this time.
On fruit that grows on trees:
Blessed are You, Lord of the Universe, who has created the fruit of the tree.
On vegetables, peanuts, bananas and pineapple:
Blessed are You, Lord of the Universe, who has created the fruit of the earth.
